BC Minor Baseball named Coquitlam Moody
Association of the Year in 2005
With a Gold at the Westerns and a Silver and a Gold at Nationals, 2005 was a banner year for Coquitlam-Moody...
John has been coaching for 39 years. He began as a coach for his brother's team in Burnaby in 1967. In 1986 John moved to Coquitlam and for the past 20 years he has made a huge contribution to Coquitlam Moody Minor Baseball.
John has coached on many teams over the years including the 1991 Peewee AAA team who won Silver at the National Championships and the 1999 Bantam AAA team who won Gold at the Western Championships. In 2005 he managed the Bantam AAA team at the National Tournament in Windsor, Ontario where the team won Silver.
John has volunteered in many other areas including equipment manager (10 years) and divisional coordinator at both the Mosquito and Bantam levels. He served as President of our association for 2 years and has been a board member for many years.
Congratulations John and we thank you for all your hard work and dedication to youth baseball and specifically to Coquitlam Moody Baseball.
